Neo Vertika charges a $100 application fee per person. The application fee is basically an administrative fee to run background checks and to process your rental application. There is also a REFUNDABLE elevator deposit that you have to pay during move-in but this fee is returned after you are done moving in. The association also charges a common area deposit which is equivalent to one month’s rent. This should not be confused with a security deposit that your landlord may charge. The security deposit that your landlord charges can only be deducted from if you damage the apartment. The building common area deposit can only be used if you damage the common areas such as the gym, lobby, or pool.

Fees:
Application: $100/person
Elevator Deposit: $500 (refundable after move-in)
Common Area Deposit: 1 month’s rent

Additionally, it is common that each unit will require a first month’s rent, last month’s rent, and security deposit to move in. Since we understand that this can be a lot of money to move in, typically the landlord is open to negotiating the common area deposit. Let RFH Realty help you negotiate these terms!

Utilities that are tenant’s responsibility:

– Cable + Internet (Hotwire Communications)
– Electricity (FPL)

All other utilities are provided by the building.

You should expect up to 2 weeks in processing time for your rental application to be approved by the Neo Vertika association. However, in most cases, it should take less than 2 weeks. It mainly depends on how fast a tenant submits a complete application.

Residents at Neo Vertika are given 10 parking validation vouchers per month. Typically the first hour is free and the remaining hours are at a discounted rate. The overnight parking with a validation is $18.
